The Traveling Superintendent will oversee construction projects across various locations, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves coordination with subcontractors, managing schedules, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and permitting processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise on-site construction activities across various projects nationwide
- Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure successful project execution
- Utilize Procore for project management, scheduling, and documentation
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality control measures
- Oversee ground-up and tenant improvement projects, including precast concrete and steel framing work
- Coordinate MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) installations and inspections
- Manage permitting processes and ensure timely approvals
- Conduct regular site inspections and meetings to monitor progress and resolve issues
- Proven experience as a Superintendent in industrial and commercial construction
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and project management
- Expertise in using Procore and Bluebeam software
- Experience with ground-up and tenant improvement projects
- Understanding of precast concrete and steel framing techniques
- Familiarity with MEP systems and permitting requirements
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to travel frequently and adapt to various work environments
