As a member of our Trusts & Estates team you will assist clients in navigating complex trust and estate matters, ensuring effective estate planning and wealth preservation strategies. This role requires a deep understanding of probate law, estate tax implications, and trust administration to provide comprehensive legal support to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with estate planning and the creation of trusts.
- Manage the administration of estates and trusts, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- Provide legal advice on probate matters.
- Draft legal documents including wills, trusts, and other estate planning instruments.
- Conduct legal research on estate tax and cross-border estate issues.
- Represent clients in estate litigation matters as needed.
- Collaborate with financial advisors and other professionals to create cohesive estate plans for clients.
- Juris Doctor (JD)
- Licensed to practice in the state of NY.
- 5 years of experience in trust and estate law, with a focus on estate planning and administration.
- Strong understanding of probate law, estate tax, and litigation.
- Cross-border estate planning is a PLUS!
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients.
