We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems to ensure optimal operation of our facilities and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform regular maintenance and repairs on various mechanical systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential mechanical problems and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain records of maintenance and repair work performed on machinery and equipment.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff to improve equipment reliability and decrease downtime.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in mechanics or a related field is preferred.
- 3 years of proven experience as a maintenance mechanic or in a similar role within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and repair techniques.
- Familiarity with water treatment and wastewater treatment processes is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving skills.
