Location: Crown Point or Indianapolis, IN - Hybrid (2 days in office, 3 days remote)

Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in workers' compensation hearings and appeals.
- Provide legal counsel and guidance on workers' compensation matters.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
- Negotiate settlements with opposing parties and insurance companies.
- Prepare cases for trial, including evidence gathering and witness preparation.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations affecting workers' compensation.
- 2000 billable hours
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited institution
- Licensure in Indiana required, licensure in Illinois is a plus!
- 2 years in workers' compensation law, personal injury defense
- Litigation experience preferred
- Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize effectively.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Base Salary: $82K-$110K (DOE)
