Job Description
Seeking a Linux Systems Administrator who is capable of working with multiple teams of engineers and software development personnel to assemble, reassemble, integrate, and install operant systems and application software to build mission systems.
- Enabling and supporting the integration, testing, and production of new mission systems
- Generating robust system baselines that are suitable for easy deployment to lab and filed suit installations and producing installation and configuration manuals to support deployments.
- Supporting implementations, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Information Technology systems
- Providing system administration services for Linux / UNIX infrastructure and development systems (scripting and loading machines using KickStart system configuration)
- Supporting the build and software integration of new mission systems and supporting architecture under development (client / server / storage / network devices, etc.)
- Ensuring systems are kept in the required configuration profile, including patch maintenance, changes required by the evolvement of production environments, updating software and software configurations
- Configuring and managing UNIX and Windows Operating systems and installing / loading operating system software, troubleshooting, maintaining integrity, and configuring network components along with the implementation of operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance

The salary range for this role is $90,000 - $160,000. This range is a good faith estimate that reflects various experience levels.
