CyberData Technologies is seeking a motivated and experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful execution of IT projects. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with high-quality outcomes. This role is vital in driving key IT initiatives that align with organizational strategies and foster growth.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the execution of multiple IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Plan, coordinate, and implement projects to meet deliverables and stakeholder expectations.
Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, providing regular status updates to stakeholders.
Oversee project scope, schedule, and resource allocation to achieve objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure clear communication and alignment on project goals.
Proactively identify and address risks, issues, and dependencies to maintain project performance.
Implement Agile methodologies and best practices in project management processes.
Manage the Project Management Office (PMO) and oversee IT projects throughout their lifecycle.
Provide weekly milestone reports and ensure accurate tracking of project progress using tools like ServiceNow.
Facilitate communication and consensus among project stakeholders to foster collaboration.
Assess project, program, and process performance for continuous improvement opportunities.
Report on cross-project dependencies and provide updates to leadership.
Support operational maintenance plans and develop procedures for completed projects.
Qualifications:
Experience: 7-10 years of proven experience in IT project management or related fields.
Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is required.
Track Record: Demonstrated success in managing complex projects on time and within budget.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, and ServiceNow.
Methodologies: In-depth understanding of Agile methodologies and their application beyond software development.
Leadership: Experience in managing a Project Management Office (PMO) and leading IT-wide initiatives.
Planning Skills: Ability to create realistic plans, set achievable objectives, and minimize project changes.
Communication: Strong verbal and written skills to build consensus across project teams and stakeholders.
Organizational Skills: Exceptional time-management abilities to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Evaluation: Competence in assessing program and project performance to drive continuous improvement.
Additional Knowledge: Familiarity with NEI or federal IT project management processes is a plus.
