About the Role:
As Planning Supervisor for the Field Operations team, you will be based in the Denver office (located in Littleton, CO) and will report to the Planning Manager (to be hired). You are responsible for overseeing Planning operations for the US field teams. This role involves optimizing resource allocation, scheduling, and workflow coordination. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance productivity and effectiveness in field operations.

Job Responsibilities:
- Daily Mobilization Plans: Collaborate with team members to develop and communicate daily mobilization plans for field teams, ensuring seamless execution of projects.
- Risk Assessment and Management (RAM): Work closely with the Aviation team to develop and issue RAMs, ensuring that safety considerations are prioritized. Review and verify RAMs before final approval.
- Safety Training: Schedule essential safety training in coordination with Lead Pilots and Aviation team. Assist in developing effective safety training programs to ensure a safe working environment.
- Field Skills Training: Collaborate with other planning team members and Aviation team to identify and implement field skills training needs, aligning training with project field sequencing to enhance team capabilities.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Maintain and update field status reports and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the planning team, proactively identifying areas for project improvement.
- Issue Resolution: Assist in resolving in-field issues, including access challenges, equipment availability, and other operational matters to keep projects on track.
- Equipment Coordination: Collaborate with the Equipment Team to ensure that the right equipment is available at the right location to maximize field team efficiency and morale. Develop equipment requests as needed.
- Knowledge Transfer: Facilitate the integration of global Cyberhawk safety and operational standards into US Operations procedures and behaviors, ensuring consistency and compliance.
- Resource Allocation: Collaborate with team members to identify optimal resource allocation strategies, ensuring efficient project delivery that aligns with client needs.
- Performance Evaluation: Evaluate team performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide constructive feedback to enhance team capabilities.
- Conflict Resolution: Address conflicts and challenges within the team promptly, fostering a harmonious and productive work environment.
- Resource Planning: Collaborate with other Planning Supervisors and Project Managers to assess staffing needs and ensure the team is adequately resourced for project requirements.
- Compliance: Ensure the field team adheres to company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards, promoting a culture of compliance.
- Finance: Understand the budget and cost control measures as it relates to planning
- Other: Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Possess an Associates, Technical, or higher degree, or equivalent experience, in geography, engineering, project management, or another related field
- Exhibit excellent attention to detail, prioritization abilities, scheduling proficiency, and a knack for documenting communication and time management.
- Demonstrate strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, essential for data analysis and presentation purposes.
- Maintain a positive and can-do attitude, especially when working in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment.
- Possess a solid understanding of current communication tools and project tracking software.
- Exhibit technical prowess with the ability to define and refine requirements throughout various project stages.
- Prior experience or a strong interest in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or QGIS (Quantum GIS)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage shifting priorities, demands, and timelines effectively.
Bonus Experience:
- Knowledge of the commercial drone market, commercial drone regulations, and the use of drones in the electric utility, oil and gas, and construction industries.
Additional Details:
- Eligibility to live and work in the US with high fluency in English.
- Passport recommended to be able to visit our headquarters in Edinburgh, Scotland.
- Valid Driver’s License required
- Be able to access the Littleton office on a regular basis and when required.
- This position has an estimated 20% travel expectation to ensure compliance stability.
- The successful candidate will be required to complete a criminal background check, motor vehicle check, and reference check during the onboarding process.
