We are looking for a Business Development Representative to help drive new business pipeline and support our growth. Your role will be to source new opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers. This role will be based in our Melville, NY office.
To be successful in this role you should have previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales development targets (meetings, opportunities). You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with prospective customers, from first contact until you secure discovery meetings. If you are motivated and results-driven, and enjoy working in a team environment, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will boost sales and contribute to our long-term business growth.
Position Summary :
Actively work alongside the Sales and Marketing team members throughout the sales process by participating in sales development calls and meetings with prospects.
- Qualify and convert leads from marketing campaigns into sales opportunities
- Contact potential clients through cold calls, warm calls, emails, and social selling
- Present our company to potential clients
- Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account Executives
- Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products / services
- Build long-term trusting relationships with clients
- Stay up-to-date with new products / services
