In addition to our recent growth in Federal Civilian agencies, we are seeking to expand our capabilities in cloud development and footprint in national-security focused agencies within the Department of Defense and U.S. Intelligence Community.

Client :

CTEC develops and delivers innovative customer-centric technologies and solutions that facilitate the Department of Energy's (DOE) Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL).

Job Summary :

BS / BA degree in engineering or science plus ten (10) years of direct or related experience in the engineering or science field. Relevant expertise includes extensive knowledge of analytical techniques, experience in gathering data to solve complex technical problems (e.g., requirements definition, operations research, modeling), and team leader responsibilities. My duties may include analysis of complex issues, the definition of functional requirements, operations research, modeling, process analysis, and design, developing and providing training materials, and daily supervision.

Duties & Responsibilities :

• Analyze complex problems and define functional requirements.
• Conduct operations research, modeling, process analysis, and design.
• Develop and provide training materials.
• Provide daily supervision and team leadership.
• Lead and direct engineering or technical efforts for significant project areas.
• Check Creo models and drawings for form, fit, and function, conduct tolerance and stack analysis, and ensure compliance with standards.
• Recommend methods for improvement to ensure product definition meets requirements for producibility while reducing product defects.
• Develop and interpret 3D CAD model standards, practices, and procedures.
• Oversee hardware fabrication, inspection, and assembly processes.
• Manage weapon-system configuration workflows for authorizing, reviewing, releasing, and distributing models, drawings, specifications, and related product definitions.
• Lead reviews for design, manufacture, assembly, and tests.
• Mentor and guide other checkers and design staff in mechanical design and modeling.
• Develop constructive, cooperative working relationships with engineers, physicists, scientists, technologists, and technicians.
