As we expand our footprint, we are now seeking a talented Proposal Writer/Bid Specialist to join our team. This role will focus on crafting responses to government and private sector RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs related to our CyberSandia division. Key Responsibilities:
Research, write, and edit IT proposals for RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs, ensuring clarity, compliance, and persuasiveness.
Collaborate with technical teams to understand complex cybersecurity solutions and translate them into compelling proposal content.
Develop proposals that align with client requirements, technical specifications, and TAC Security’s brand.
Manage the proposal development lifecycle: outlining, drafting, editing, and ensuring timely submission.
Maintain a repository of standard proposal content, templates, and previous responses.
Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy, readability, and adherence to all guidelines.
Engage in post-submission follow-ups, addressing any client questions or clarifications.
Stay informed on New Mexico GSD and IT Department procurement processes and best practices.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Business, IT, or a related field.
4 years of experience in proposal writing, with a preference for IT and cybersecurity sectors.
Strong knowledge of New Mexico GSD and State IT Department RFP processes.
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Ability to simplify and synthesize complex technical information into clear, persuasive content.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and proposal management tools.
Familiarity with government RFP processes is a plus.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with government and corporate IT proposals.
Knowledge of IT solutions, software, and cybersecurity services.
