What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cyber Security Specialist position at CyberSN?
Our client is looking to hire a Cybersecurity Specialist to join their cybersecurity team as a contractor . This role will focus on supporting various Incident Response, Security Operations, and other Security efforts.
This is a hybrid role that requires 3 days a week of working onsite in Chandler, Arizona.
No Visa / Sponsorship Transfer available . Candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Green Card Holders.
Responsibilities :
70% Incident Response
- Provide guidance t to incident response activities and initiatives
- Respond to incidents involving malware
- Respond to network based attacks - Denial of service; Web Application Attacks; Email and Phishing attacks; Network infrastructure attacks; Cloud infrastructure attacks
- Perform incident detection on Endpoint and Network Events, as well as Anomalous events (misconfiguration and misuse)
- Enhance detection capabilities
- Perform threat hunting
- Member of a CSIRT (Computer Security Incident Response Team)
- Manage, triage, escalate, and respond to cybersecurity alerts from a Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) to ensure timely and effective threat mitigation
