Salary Range: $100,000 – $170,000 USD

A leading U.S. defense contractor is seeking a Senior Electronic Warfare SME to join the F‑35 Integrated Product Team at NAVAIR’s Weapons Division in Point Mugu. In this role, you’ll apply your deep expertise to protect high‑value aircraft from emerging radar and RF threats—and help design tomorrow’s adaptive counter‑measures
What You’ll Do
- Expert Technical Leadership: Serve as the go‑to authority on EW threats, AN/ALQ‑260 DRFM jamming, radar data analysis, and counter‑counter‑measures.
- Systems Engineering: Lead requirements analysis and system architecture design for EW payload integration and cloud‑based analytics.
- Test & Evaluation: Plan and execute live‑fire EW tests, collect and analyze data, and update our threat library to stay ahead of evolving adversaries.
- Documentation & Collaboration: Draft and refine system requirements, design specifications, white papers, and engineering notes; guide technical meetings and milestone reviews.
- Travel: Support CONUS and OCONUS activities (~25% of the time) to collaborate with government and industry stakeholders.
What You Bring
- Experience: 3–10 years in electronic warfare, radar threat mitigation, DRFM jamming, and systems engineering (hardware/software).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with cloud platforms and RF signal processing tools.
- Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal abilities—able to distill complex EW concepts for a range of audiences.
- Education & Clearance: MS/MA in Engineering or related field (or BS 4 years’ relevant experience); active DoD Secret clearance (TS eligible); U.S. citizenship required.
