The Safety & Security Department of the MTA IT is seeking the service of Database Administrator / Analyst "Counter" consultant. The Analyst / Counter consultant position is requested to provide a manual review and analysis of camera / electronic data portraying Quality of Life (QOL) issues such as fare evasion and vandalism for the purpose of : analyzing changes / improvements due to security policies per the instruction of the Director, Data Information and analysis, department of Safety and Security.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Observe sources of electronic data for usable information
- Input data from available sources into relevant fields
- Code data
- Transform data into actionable information
- Maintain records as requested by Director Data Information and Analysis.
- Analyze data to identify trends
- Develop visual representations of quantitative and qualitative data.
- Ensures company complies with applicable laws and regulations regarding data security and document management.
- Liaise with IT systems experts
