AI Data Architect - Hybrid

Job Description:

As an AI Data Architect, you will play a critical role in advancing data-driven initiatives within the public sector, bringing deep expertise in AI technologies, data architecture, and risk management. You will collaborate with stakeholders to implement AI-powered solutions while ensuring compliance with data security, ethical considerations, and public sector regulations. You will help shape AI strategy, assess use cases, and contribute to the development of secure, scalable AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Chief Data Officer and stakeholders to develop and implement an AI strategy
• Conduct assessments of potential AI use cases, evaluating feasibility, impact, and risks
• Review and design AI project solutions, focusing on security, scalability, and data quality
• Assess and mitigate risks, including privacy concerns, algorithmic bias, and misuse of AI
• Foster collaboration between cross-functional teams to ensure AI initiatives align with ethical standards
• Stay updated on AI technologies and recommend solutions tailored to use cases
• Prepare technical reports on project findings and identify opportunities for future AI use
  
  

Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:

• Leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to explain complex AI concepts to diverse teams
• Strong technical background in AI and machine learning, with knowledge of tools such as Google Vertex, AWS Kendra, Snowflake Cortex, AWS SageMaker, Google AI Studio
• Experience with cloud computing (AWS, GCP), big data technologies (Snowflake, Redshift, Big Query), and data architecture
• Understanding of responsible AI principles and ethical concerns
• Senior-level analytical and problem-solving skills
• NIST AI Framework training or certification
  
  

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $60.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
