As a Business Analyst, you will communicate with business owners and stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, processes, and internal applications. You will collaborate closely with the team to ensure that business needs align with project objectives, providing detailed documentation and insights to drive the project forward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with business units and stakeholders to gather information using techniques such as interviews, work sessions, storyboarding, and prototyping
- Elicit, analyze, document, and communicate business requirements
- Translate high-level business requirements into user stories, use cases, process flows, screen mock-ups, and gap analysis documents
- Create and maintain documents and artifacts to support knowledge management within the organization
- Collaborate with the program manager, project manager, and senior business analyst
- Work with Quality Assurance teams to support testing efforts
- Create and maintain business process workflows and flowcharts
- Analyze current business processes to identify opportunities for improvement
- Validate solutions by comparing the end product with requirements specifications
- Assist in project task planning, lead meetings, and coordinate activities for requirements gathering
- 4 years of relevant experience
- College degree preferred
- Experience analyzing and documenting business requirements, both functional and non-functional
- Ability to create application prototypes, screen mock-ups, and graphical representations of complex business processes
- Proficient with Microsoft products (SQL, Microsoft Office, Azure, GIT)
- Strong skills in facilitating workshops for requirements gathering
- Experience analyzing data elements of enterprise applications and determining their relationships
- Expertise in gap analysis (As-Is/To-Be) for large applications
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Experience developing business requirements, functional requirements, user requirements, and report specifications
- Proficient in creating requirements traceability matrices
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively
