As a Business Data Analyst, you will be responsible for receiving, processing, and presenting data from the weekly Helix datasets provided by another division of the Infrastructure & Operations (I&O) team. This role involves analyzing services provided by Network Services and delivering key metrics, reports, and presentations to inform decision-making and enhance service delivery.

As a Business Data Analyst, you will be responsible for receiving, processing, and presenting data from the weekly Helix datasets provided by another division of the Infrastructure & Operations (I&O) team. This role involves analyzing services provided by Network Services and delivering key metrics, reports, and presentations to inform decision-making and enhance service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Extrapolate and process datasets from the Service Desk Support Team using appropriate algorithm tools.
- Analyze and report on data insights to provide valuable metrics and statistics.
- Facilitate meetings to discuss workload analysis and project status.
- Collaborate across teams to gather data and ensure accurate reporting.
- Develop presentations that communicate findings and metrics effectively.
- Ensure data is prepared, analyzed, and reported in a clear, actionable format.
- Train, evaluate, and improve models on collected data.
- Implement data mining strategies in alignment with the CRISP-DM process model.
- Support business understanding, data preparation, and evaluation for deployment.
- Maintain strong interpersonal relationships to effectively work with multiple vendors, and departments.
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
- Proficiency in the CRISP-DM process model for data mining projects.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working in a large enterprise environment is required (3-5 years).
- Experience with PBI, R, IBM SPSS, or Tableau (1-3 years).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Excel (3-5 years).
- Experience with Remedy/Helix (3-5 years).
- Experience in a telecommunications environment is preferred (3-5 years).
- Knowledge of multiple network platforms and network lines of service (preferred 3-5 years).
- Customer service experience (5 years).
- DevOps experience (preferred 2-3 years).
