Java PHP Developer - Remote

Job Description:

As a Java PHP Developer, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of applications, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of business solutions. This role requires experience in PHP, Java, JavaScript, Shell Scripting, and working with GIT, as well as the ability to manage multiple requests and collaborate within a matrixed environment. You will follow established incident and change management protocols, contribute to Agile or Waterfall development processes, and ensure code quality through disciplined testing and release management.

Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:

• 3 years of experience in PHP development
• 3-5 years of experience in Java
• 3-5 years of experience in JavaScript/jQuery
• 1 year of Shell Scripting experience
• Experience with BASH or other Linux environments
• 1 year of experience with GIT
• Ability to handle simultaneous requests from customers with varying complexity
• Experience adhering to Incident and Change Management policies
• Collaboration with Solution Architects, Engineers, and Business Analysts to design applications
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall development methodologies
• Experience with coding in-house applications or managing COTS applications
• Coordination of update releases, break/fix solutions, and documentation updates
• Experience in ensuring application development aligns with business requirements and service portfolio standards
• Strong problem-solving skills for resolving development process issues and identifying areas for process improvement
• Ability to work effectively in a matrix management environment
  
  

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $40.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
