As an M365 Support Specialist w/ SharePoint & Migration expertise, you will be responsible for supporting the client’s M365 platform, particularly SharePoint Online and Teams. You will collaborate with management, business users, and contractors to improve user experience, develop solutions, and lead migrations of data to M365 tools. This position will ensure compliance with governance standards, conduct training, and support SharePoint development to meet business objectives.

As an M365 Support Specialist w/ SharePoint & Migration expertise, you will be responsible for supporting the client’s M365 platform, particularly SharePoint Online and Teams. You will collaborate with management, business users, and contractors to improve user experience, develop solutions, and lead migrations of data to M365 tools. This position will ensure compliance with governance standards, conduct training, and support SharePoint development to meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, documentation, and implementation of SharePoint Online sites and M365 tools, including Teams, OneDrive, and Power Platform
- Analyze business needs and recommend SharePoint solutions in alignment with compliance and governance policies
- Provide guidance to agency partners and project teams on SharePoint configurations, forms, web parts, and related cloud technologies
- Plan and execute M365 data migrations, working closely with stakeholders to ensure smooth transitions to SharePoint Online and Teams
- Conduct staff training on M365 tools, and ensure compliance with established governance standards
- Monitor the Microsoft 365 Roadmap and advise on emerging features to enhance agency operations
- Document and support operational processes, developing strategies for ongoing compliance and improvement
- Respond to high-priority technical needs and provide support for SharePoint/M365-related projects
- Extensive experience with M365 tools, including SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and Power Platform
- Proficiency in M365 migration tools, such as Sharegate, and experience managing large-scale migrations
- Strong understanding of SharePoint Online design, library metadata setup, and workflows within M365
- Experience gathering user requirements and delivering consultative solutions for M365 environments
- Ability to write clear and structured technical documentation and manage change requests
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint native tools and site configurations
- Microsoft certification (MCSE/MCSD) required
- Experience working in government environments preferred
- Exceptional communication skills, particularly in user-facing roles
