Description/Comment: Job Summary:
Experienced in developing performance engineering processes, policies, procedures, and standards for performance engineering and leading efforts to implement those.
Will analyze performance results to identify bottlenecks and suggest optimizations, participate in discussions and planning with development and will design and implement overhead, scalability, stability, and stress tests using industry standard tools and developed software.
Proficient in end-to-end performance assurance, early performance assessment, and validation of commercial and non-commercial on-premises and cloud-based applications.
Demonstrated ability to build or configure tools to conduct performance tests.
Strong overall architectural understanding of large systems development with a focus on performance.
Expertise in identifying and resolving performance issues on a variety of server subsystems (CPU, Memory, Threads, I/O, etc.) and operating systems counters.
Designed and Developed automated Performance, Stability, Scalability, and Reliability tests.
Extensive experience in Performance Testing and Monitoring tools such as JMeter/ Blazemeter, Splunk, AppDynamics, Thousand Eyes, etc.
Experience with test data setup tools like K2View a plus
Good working knowledge of operating systems, databases, and programming languages (both procedural and object).
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
