Job Description:
As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects and ensuring that they meet the sponsor's goals and objectives. You will establish project control methods, manage project teams, and provide planning and reporting throughout the project lifecycle. Your role will involve working closely with the departments of Technology, Management, and Budget to contribute to the success of the System Integrator and Independent Verification and Validation projects.

As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects and ensuring that they meet the sponsor's goals and objectives. You will establish project control methods, manage project teams, and provide planning and reporting throughout the project lifecycle. Your role will involve working closely with the departments of Technology, Management, and Budget to contribute to the success of the System Integrator and Independent Verification and Validation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and monitor project control methods to ensure awareness of changes in cost, quality, or schedule.
- Plan and report on project progress, adhering to the Client’s methodology (SUITE) and the Agency’s prioritization process.
- Direct and coordinate daily activities, tasks, and deliverables required from the project team.
- Ensure successful project completion according to the sponsor’s goals and objectives, from initiation to closure.
- Document requirements and develop a Statement of Work (SOW) to procure vendor contracts for system integrator and independent verification services.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee procurement processes, including RFP and SOW development.
- Oversee multiple projects as part of a larger program, ensuring alignment and proper execution.
- Contribute to the overall operation and objectives of the department of Technology, Management, and Budget.
- Manage day-to-day coordination of tasks across multiple projects under the DIWD program.
- Provide leadership and direction to ensure program objectives are met within the specified timeframe.
- 10 years of project management experience.
- 2 years of experience in IT Data Governance (Preferred).
- 2 years of experience in data warehouse implementation/solicitation (Preferred).
- 1 year of experience in procurement (RFP/SOW).
- 1 year of vendor management experience.
- 1 year of experience managing multiple projects or programs simultaneously.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Experience with program management methodologies and project lifecycle management.
