Project Manager - Hybrid

Job Description:

As a Project Manager, you will manage multiple projects, including initiatives such as the GitHub migration, HHS Vision, Manage Engine Rollout, Security Initiatives, and other future projects. The PMO Division provides adaptable, secure, and cost-effective technology services across multiple divisions. You will lead technology projects to completion, ensuring alignment with business goals, adhering to budgets, and complying with processes and procedures. You will collaborate with business unit personnel, Business Analysts, and Architects to drive results and report progress to project sponsors and the PMO Director.

Key Responsibilities:

• Adhere to project governance structures, utilizing methodology, required templates, and reporting tools.
• Collaborate with and educate IT and business teams to ensure project alignment and success.
• Work effectively under broad supervision, meeting deadlines in fast-paced environments.
• Manage and prioritize multiple simultaneous complex business processes and projects.
• Break down complex tasks into actionable work items and sequence them appropriately.
• Oversee scope management, ensuring the delivery of a minimum viable product.
• Coordinate stakeholder communication, manage project progress, and report status updates.
• Manage vendor product procurement, staffing needs, and the delivery of services.
• Lead project meetings, ensuring adherence to quality standards and deliverables.
• Identify process improvement opportunities related to portfolio and project management.
• Escalate project issues to management as appropriate and ensure compliance with IT policies.
  
  

Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:

• 8 years of experience managing system integration and technology projects.
• Expertise in managing stakeholder expectations and working within project governance structures.
• Extensive experience in planning, managing, and tracking high-impact projects.
• Strong process development and gap analysis skills, with the ability to formalize procedures.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to multitask in a cross-functional environment.
• Proven experience in gathering and documenting business requirements from end users.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with changing priorities.
• Experience with Agile projects and managing client expectations.
• Demonstrated ability to implement change management initiatives.
  
  

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $50.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
