Job Description:
As a skilled Salesforce Developer, you will assist in the development and deployment of an Incident Management System (IMS) using Salesforce’s dedicated Public Sector Solutions data model. The IMS will enable tracking of incidents such as helpdesk tickets and sentinel events, providing a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform for state staff and community users. The selected candidate will be instrumental in building Salesforce solutions, integrating data feeds, and supporting the overall platform to replace antiquated processes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Leverage Salesforce’s Public Sector Solutions data model to build and deliver customized solutions based on business requirements
- Design, document, and review functional specifications, system requirements, and program-specific actions
- Participate in programming activities, following SDLC and agile practices for development
- Conduct analysis, coding, testing, debugging, implementation, and documentation of Salesforce solutions
- Create and manage workflows, develop APEX classes and triggers, Visualforce pages, and Lightning Web components
- Integrate Salesforce APIs with other State systems, including legacy platforms
- Review and improve custom code, ensuring alignment with Salesforce best practices
- Configure permission sets, role hierarchies, workflow rules, and organization-wide defaults
- Perform basic platform configurations and manage data through reports and dashboards
- Create data models and tables using Informatica ETL tools
- Estimate resources and time for tasks, review other team members' estimates
- Collaborate with Salesforce administrators on release cycles to deploy new functionality and updates
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, PHI/PII/PCI protection guidelines
- Salesforce Public Sector Solutions data model experience is mandatory
- APEX development, Visualforce pages, and Lightning Web components expertise
- Strong background in integrating Salesforce with external systems via APIs
- Familiarity with test-driven development and "low code, no code" methodologies
- Experience with Informatica ETL tools for data modeling
- Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration, including permission sets and workflow rules
- Ability to work with Salesforce administrators to deploy updates and releases
