Job Description :
As a Business / QA Analyst, you will be responsible for identifying and defining business requirements by quickly understanding both business and technical needs from a diverse group of users. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that system designs, testing, and product documentation align with business goals. Your role will encompass both business analysis and quality assurance, ensuring that interactive web and mobile applications are fully tested and meet functional requirements.
Key Responsibilities :
- Identify and define business requirements based on input from various users and stakeholders.
- Create process flows, screen designs, and storyboards to support system design and review ongoing business requirements.
- Document business requirements clearly to communicate the functionality to be developed for the product and obtain necessary approvals.
- Coordinate with UI / UX, app development, backend, CMS, Testing, and other experts on design and development.
- Work with the applications manager to maintain product roadmaps, epics, user stories, use cases, and other product documentation.
- Write test cases based on wireframes, comps, and functional requirements.
- Conduct functional, cross-browser, and mobile device testing.
- Oversee the end-to-end testing of interactive web and mobile applications.
- Monitor and identify issues related to content, layout, usability, accessibility, functionality, and more across multiple browsers and devices.
- Review product specifications and create effective testing strategies, plans, and tools to meet project goals.
- Thoroughly test solutions to ensure functionality and integrity.
- Write SQL queries to compile data and generate reports as needed.
- Maintain all requirements materials and traceability matrices.
- Provide Help Desk support as needed for production applications.
Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies :
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $45.00 to $80.00 / hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
