Job Description :
As a Database Administrator, you will lead the design and development of secure data lake systems, manage data migrations on MS SQL platforms, and interpret Oracle scripts. The role requires strong expertise in ETL processes, scripting, and cloud-based data migration strategies.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and develop secure data lake systems for enterprise use.
- Manage and migrate data on MS SQL platforms with a focus on optimization.
- Interpret, modify, and implement Oracle scripts as needed.
- Lead efforts to build scalable and secure database solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including cybersecurity, infrastructure, and vendors.
- Optimize performance of stored procedures, views, and complex T-SQL queries.
- Ensure data integrity, compliance, and security within all database operations.
- Troubleshoot SQL Server service outages and monitor system health.
- Develop and implement best practices for database management and data migrations.
- Support cloud migrations, particularly from on-premises to Azure environments.
Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies :
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $40.00 to $75.00 / hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
