Job Description :
As a Database Administrator, you will manage Oracle databases in a cloud and on-premise environment, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage Oracle databases with multitenant architecture (CDB / PDB).
- Perform database upgrades, PSU patching, and backup / restore operations.
- Support Oracle Apex / ORDS environments and WebLogic configurations.
- Automate database operations using scripting and cloud automation tools.
- Administer Oracle OCI, DBaaS, and AWS RDS environments.
- Optimize SQL queries and performance tuning.
- Maintain security compliance, encryption, and access control.
- Implement Oracle Enterprise Manager and fleet management tools.
- Support large-scale data migration from on-premise to cloud.
- Provide on-call support for critical database operations.
Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies :
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $40.00 to $75.00 / hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
