Job Description :
As a Software Developer Engineer in Test (SDET), you will design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions using Appium. The role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement testing strategies that align with quality standards and project goals. This position will support mobile application testing across multiple platforms and contribute to future QA tooling and technology decisions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain functional test automation scripts for mobile applications using Appium with Java.
- Ensure automation tests are running continuously and promptly address any failures.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors (onshore / offshore) to define environment requirements, identify automation tools, and implement best automation processes and practices.
- Foster an end-to-end testing approach across various applications.
- Partner with geographically distributed teams to plan future QA tooling and technology decisions.
- Liaise with Product teams, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters to align project plans, testing schedules, and metrics reporting.
Required Skills, Experience, Education, and Competencies :
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $40.00 to $60.00 / hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
