Senior Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer

The Nuts and Bolts of The Job:

The Senior Instrumentation and Controls Engineer performs work that involves the design, construction, and execution of EI&C projects mostly in the heavy industrial space. Work is managed and reviewed for accuracy and adequacy. Following specific, outlined, and detailed directions for complex projects, as well as providing resolution to problems that are readily identifiable with limited scope – this is a challenging and meaty opportunity where problems are resolved in accordance with standard practices, procedures, applications, or routines. Working in a collaborative team environment comprised of passionate, forward-thinking professionals, you will work with peers and supervisors alike, to resolve complex engineering issues to drive project success and deliver customer satisfaction.

You will:

· Prepare design calculations, cost estimates, and plan preparation.

· Provide electrical, instrumentation and controls design for industrial, power and other technical projects

· Work closely with members of the team and assist in completing projects in a timely manner.

· Implements and utilizes the Company’s Best Practices for projects and processes.

· Ideally have working knowledge of InstruCalc, Fisher Spec Manager, Daniel Orifice sizing software

· Preform as lead on projects while working individually and in a team setting

· Be responsible for providing guidance on design and technical issues with subordinate engineers.

· Manage problem/task resolution in a timely manner

You Bring:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering

· Minimum 10-15 years’ demonstrated EI&C (Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls) experience leading deliverables on heavy industrial projects (O&G, utilities, mining/metals industrial chemicals etc.)

· Valid PE license

· Must have PLC wiring

· Be detail oriented.

· Ability to work in a team and individually on projects.

· Advanced critical thinking skills and problem-solving skills.
