Job Overview
Cycle x Strength (formerly CycleBar Stamford) recently added small-format strength classes to our studio in addition to our full schedule of indoor cycling. Based on significant interest from our members, we are next looking to add a few mid-morning and/or late afternoon Mat Pilates classes to our schedule. We are seeking 1-2 experienced, certified mat pilates instructors with a proven track record of delivering engaging and effective classes.
As an instructor at Cycle x Strength, you will lead and inspire participants to reach their fitness goals, and ensure a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable workout environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Program Design & Delivery: Create and lead innovative mat pilates classes that align with studio standards and enhance participant experience.
- Safety & Guidance: Ensure a safe training environment, providing real-time feedback and corrections to participants as needed.
- Client Engagement: Motivate and inspire clients to achieve their fitness goals while fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow instructors and studio management to share best practices and maintain high instructional quality.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest fitness trends through ongoing professional development.
- Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, colleagues, and management.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience leading mat pilates classes
- In-depth knowledge of pilates techniques, fitness principles, and safety guidelines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse participants.
- Relevant pilates certification
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Passion for health, fitness, and helping others achieve their goals.
- Previous experience in a fitness or health-related field is a plus.
