Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Controls Engineer Technician :

1. 2 years of experience in the electrical field, with electrical experience in a continuous manufacturing process environment.

2. Professional certification or degree.

3. Familiar with computer assimilated systems and automated control systems.

Responsibilities of the Controls Engineer Technician :

• Perform job duties in compliance with site safety rules and notify appropriate management of any safety hazards, with the intent of supporting an injury-free work environment.
• Support the companys quality and safety initiatives
• Abide by job related procedures, work instructions and other guidelines designed to help ensure the quality of the finished product.
• Provide support with IT functions in multiple areas, including Programmable Logic Controllers, Human Machine Interfaces, automation, and desktop networks
• Use design drawings, electrical schematics, and panel layouts to analyze and maintain company systems
• Manage multiple automation projects, incorporating the following :
