Senior Software Post-Sales Delivery Engineer (DDI)

Due to our company's continuous growth, we are looking for a results-driven and confident Senior Software Post-Sales Delivery Engineer to provide the best possible post-sales implementation services for our customers. This is a customer facing position that will be performing implementations and deployments of our World Class IP Address Management software and appliance solutions. This position will primarily be remote work but will occasionally require travel to customer’s locations to help install, configure, plan, and train the administrators of our software.

In this role, you will

·       Develop project plans and implementation acceptance test plans with customers

·       Gather and verify configuration information, extract data from existing data sources, and format for incorporation into our software system

·       Work with customer to define suitable deployment and cutover plans and schedules

·       Schedule and perform installations ensuring customer site readiness is complete

·       Track and communicate progress of implementations to appropriate customer team and management personnel

·       Work closely with customers to ensure services are understood, completed, and billed accordingly

·       Perform formal training to end user administrators of our software and hardware systems

·       Perform system installations and administration tasks of Windows and Linux

·       Understand general database design and operation

·       Compose basic SQL statements to perform queries against SQL compliant relational databases

Requirements

·       Associate Degree or higher in Computer Science or Electronics

·       2 years of experience of Network Management Application Systems and Software

·       Good attitude and work ethic

·       Strong problem-solving skills

·       Excellent oral and written communication skills

·       Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

·       Professional appearance and ability to interact with customers

·       Ability to learn and support new technologies rapidly

·       Have reliable transportation and be willing to travel to customer locations

·       Ability to work in a team environment

·       Must possess vast experience with the Internet Protocol Addressing

·       Tenacious working knowledge of internet communications and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP)

·       Familiarity with shell and PERL scripting considered a plus
