What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production – Paint Prep & Touch-Up position at Cygnus, Inc.?
- Rack or hang parts prior to priming or painting.
- Work with painters to determine best orientation for racking or hanging of parts to ensure efficient painting.
- Remove primed or painted parts from racking.
- Rotate or Re-rack parts in between coats of prime or paint.
- Touch-up primed or painted parts.
- Back-up for masking or de-masking as required.
- Learn production flow through Paint Department.
- Read and follow detailed work instructions, operating procedures, drawings and blueprints.
- Maintain a clean work area.
- Ability to work both independently or under direction as the job requires.
- Good Manual dexterity
- Manufacturing or painting experience is a plus.
Schedule is a 9/80 pay period. 1st week Mon-Thu 6am-3:30pm & Fri 6am-2:30pm 2nd week Mon-Thu 6am-3:30pm & Fri off..
