We are seeking a junior-level Network Engineer (NOC) to monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of networking fundamentals and a passion for IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and maintain network systems, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
Respond to network outages, troubleshoot issues, and escalate as necessary.
Perform routine network maintenance and upgrades.
Assist in setting up, configuring, and troubleshooting network equipment.
Collaborate with senior engineers to optimize network performance.
Document network incidents, resolutions, and configurations.
Required Skills:
Basic knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF).
Familiarity with Cisco, Juniper, or similar networking devices.
Basic understanding of firewalls, VPNs, and security principles.
Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, etc.).
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications like CCNA, Network , or equivalent (preferred but not mandatory).
Hands-on experience with Linux or Windows Server environments.
Scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) is a plus.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
