The Senior Director of Sales and Business Development will be responsible for driving the sales of services and system solutions in the Aerospace industry. The role focuses on growing our footprint and new revenue streams as a strategic services partner while maintaining current relationships and revenue streams.
This position will work closely with the Global Delivery organization, Central Marketing, Corporate Strategy, and regional Business Development teams to drive growth in key areas such as Manufacturing, Operations, and Aftermarket.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strong experience and relationships with Pratt & Whitney, with extensive knowledge of Aerospace Engines
- Excellent listening skills to uncover customer pain points and articulate value propositions at the executive level
- Ability to lead and collaborate with extended teams, including delivery/technical resources, lead generation, business development, finance, and human resources
- Manage revenue, purchase orders, gross margin, and days sales outstanding
- Buid and maintain customer executive-level relationships, engaging at different levels (VP, Director, and Manager) and all lines of business in dialogue to understand existing operations, growth strategy, and need for 3rd party services
- Account research to identify product and/or process segments that align with Cyient service offerings
- Qualifying leads by understanding Budget, Authority, Need, Timeframe, and compelling reason to act
- Create, maintain, and implement an account plan articulating a sound strategy to maintain and grow existing business, including sales processes such as identifying potential new customers, managing existing/new customer relationships, working with delivery to meet schedule, cost, and quality agreements, identifying and qualifying new opportunities, preparing and presenting information to senior and executive-level managers, maintaining sales opportunity reporting through Salesforce.com, and collaborating with delivery teams to create incremental customer value
