Job Title: Quality Engineer

Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Quality Engineer to join our team in North Berwick, ME. The successful candidate will bring technical expertise, a strong focus on continuous improvement, and a commitment to upholding the highest quality standards in our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Create, maintain, review, and approve Job Instruction Sheets and update routings.
Utilize Statistical Process Control (SPC) and other continuous improvement tools to achieve manufacturing and quality goals.
Provide offshore and client teams with essential documentation, including engineering drawings, technical data, and associated reports.
Adhere to Quality Standard Work (QSW) guidelines, processes, and procedures.
Ensure compliance with Export Control/ITAR regulations for project deliverables.
Develop and support cost-saving initiatives aligned with Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) programs.
Implement and support Root Cause/Corrective Action (RCCA) activities to resolve quality issues.
Required Skills and Experience:
Hands-on experience with Solumina and familiarity with quality tools such as:
Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (PFMEA)
Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
New Product Introduction (NPI)
Engineering Changes (ECs)
Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to analyze data and perform technical research.
Strong organizational skills with excellent communication abilities.
Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining a customer-focused approach.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with RCCA methodologies, NPI, and PPAP processes.
Familiarity with cost reduction initiatives and quality improvement frameworks.
