Quality Inspector – Aerospace
Location: Jamestown, ND (Onsite)
Requirement: U.S. Citizenship (ITAR compliance)
About the Role
We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team in Jamestown, ND. This role is critical in ensuring aerospace components meet engineering and quality standards. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting inspections, operating precision measuring equipment, and working closely with internal and external stakeholders to uphold product integrity. Key Responsibilities
- Perform in-process and final inspections of aerospace products using precision measuring tools and software.
- Operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) to verify product conformance.
- Conduct First Article Inspections (FAIs) and FAA Conformity inspections.
- Identify and document non-conformances, quarantine non-conforming products, and assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Manage inspection tasks efficiently and independently, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with product stakeholders to determine and report product status to internal and external customers.
Qualifications & SkillsRequired:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work semi-independently with strong problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams).
- Base knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and strong mathematical skills.
- Effective communication skills and attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of FAA regulations and aerospace industry standards.
Preferred:
- AA/AS degree or equivalent post-secondary training.
- 1 – 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (Aerospace preferred).
- Familiarity with industry software such as Teamcenter, SAP, Discus, NetInspect, and Minitab (or comparable data analysis software).

Pay: $27.77 - $30.13 per hour
