Cymbiotika is seeking a highly motivated and strategic-minded Director of Procurement to lead our procurement team. through a transformational period. This is a pivotal role that will contribute directly to the organization's growth and success by ensuring the steady, on-time flow of products and goods. The Director of Procurement will establish strong, repeatable processes, ensuring clear visibility to stakeholders, and will help sustain our growth while supporting our omni-channel roadmap.
Reports to : VP of Supply Chain
Work From Home Status : In-office, no remote work
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide vision and leadership to the procurement team, driving strategy and execution.
- Establish and maintain robust processes for all department functions to ensure efficiency.
- Develop and track KPIs to measure the team's success and align with company goals.
- Lead and manage projects to propel the team, department, and organization forward.
- Build strong relationships with vendors and co-manufacturers to understand their needs and drive favorable terms.
- Advocate for Cymbiotika to negotiate better pricing and terms to enhance profitability.
- Collaborate with other department leaders to prevent stockouts and ensure a smooth transfer of stock.
- Define and refine specific responsibilities for the team to ensure ownership, and accountability
- Provide real-time insights to leadership on procurement department activities, using data to drive decisions.
- Oversee inventory management and multi-site DRP processes to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Continuously identify process improvement opportunities , reduce costs, and improve overall product and service quality.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering the best quality and service, every single day.
