Purpose Statement
The Cook role is designed to support daily food production and operations in the kitchen, ensuring high-quality service and products for every guest of the restaurant.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food according to designated recipes and timing standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Ensure all dishes, utensils, and equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized.
- Report any safety or maintenance issues to management promptly.
- Follow meal recipes and menus accurately, and assist in promoting teamwork culture.
- Communicate effectively with crew members, guests, and managers.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds.
- Capable of walking and standing for extended periods.
- Good visual acuity for reading recipes and instructions.
- Adequate hearing acuity to understand verbal instructions and equipment sounds.
- 17.00 - $23.50 per hour (combined hourly wage and average tip pool potential).
