Porter

We are currently seeking a hands-on, detail- and team-oriented Porter with a just-do-it attitude!

Position Summary

The Porter is responsible for the upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors and leasing office, parking lots and other community buildings of multi-family residential grounds.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities For a Porter

• Responsible for meticulous upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors and leasing office, parking lots and other community buildings.
• Removes trash from office areas and apartment community perimeter on a daily basis.
• Prepares property trash for city pick-up.
• Assists in the preparation of market ready units, including remove trash from vacant apartments (trash outs) prior to make-ready.
• Prepare surfaces and perform painting projects as assigned
• Assists in the preparation of market ready units by punching units as needed
• Performs assigned maintenance tasks in a timely manner.
• Assists in the cleaning of available apartments and/or models.
• Assists in the troubleshoot/repair of mechanical, carpentry and electrical problems.
• Reports any maintenance concerns for repairs on available apartments, models, clubhouse, and/or common areas to the Maintenance Supervisor and/or Property Manager.
• Meticulously maintains curb appeal.
• Pressure clean common areas
• Represents the community in a professional manner at all times-on/off property.
• Delivers communication documentation to residents.
• Ensures that unsafe conditions are corrected in a timely manner.
• Learns and ensures compliance with all company, local, state and federal safety rules.
• May need to travel between properties on occasion.
• Performs all other duties as required and assigned.
