We are seeking a skilled Angiography Technician to join our team at Cynet Health. In this role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality angiography images through the operation of complex medical equipment.
About the Job
This position requires a strong understanding of angiography procedures and protocols, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
You will be responsible for ensuring proper patient identification, order verification, and preparation for exams. Additionally, you will prepare patients for exams using appropriate body mechanics, identify proper exams based on patient need, and utilize correct exam techniques.
Your duties will also include maintaining work areas, stocking necessary supplies, and transporting patients as needed. Furthermore, you will develop specific knowledge regarding invasive, diagnostic, and interventional supplies, their indications, applications, proper use, and deployment techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality angiography images through the operation of complex medical equipment
- Ensure proper patient identification, order verification, and preparation for exams
- Maintain work areas, stock necessary supplies, and transport patients as needed
Requirements
- A minimum of 1 year of vascular or interventional experience
- State Rad Tech License
- ARRT registration, Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers, Vascular/Interventional radiography certification, or one year of Angio/Interventional experience
Education and Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Sciences or related field
- ARRT registration, Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers, Vascular/Interventional radiography certification, or one year of Angio/Interventional experience
