* Develop and monitor operational and financial outcome measures, integrating these efforts into organization-wide Quality Improvement systems.
* Implement and evaluate the development of departmental, functional, or service-related policies and procedures.
* Assess and facilitate continuous process improvement regularly and consistently.
* Supervise staff by providing timely feedback and utilizing appropriate Human Resource policies and tools to ensure the highest level of professional growth and performance standards.
* Plan, direct, implement, and evaluate computer-based information and dispensing systems for efficiency and data accuracy.
* Manage purchasing and inventory functions for cost-effective management while ensuring timely pharmaceutical availability.
* Facilitate staff professional growth by assessing learning needs, styles, and barriers; coordinate learning opportunities.
* Prepare monthly progress/operational reports identifying areas for improvement and recommendations.
* Participate in departmental orientation, on-the-job training, and quality assurance programs/initiatives.
* Engage in various hospital educational programs to maintain current skills and competencies.
* Perform other duties as requested.

* Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PhD).
* Five years of professional experience, with two years of management experience.
* Current and valid state Pharmacy license.
* BLS (within 30 days of hire), ACLS, PALS (PALS can be obtained on-site).
