- Prepare patients for exams, ensuring they are properly positioned and immobilized.
- Select appropriate imaging factors and image designated body portions.
- Explain exams to patients, considering their physical and emotional needs.
- Maintain effective working relations and communication with departmental personnel.
- Calibrate and verify the operation of all equipment daily.
- Execute paperwork and Radiology Information System functions necessary for each patient exam.
- Perform venipuncture for contrast administration under a radiologist's direction.
- Participate in research programs, quality assurance, and quality improvement projects.
