Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician (Allied)
Location: Rochester, New York
Shift Type: 8-hour Evening Shift (10:30 PM - 7:00 AM) with On-Call
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks (with possible extensions)
Key Responsibilities:
- Sterilizing and processing surgical instruments used in operating rooms and off-site facilities
- Ensuring proper handling and packaging of sterile instruments
- Adhering to hospital protocols and standards for sterile processing
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure timely delivery of sterilized instruments
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Sterile Processing Technician
- Certification in Sterile Processing (preferred)
- Ability to handle on-call duty
- Flexibility to work weekend shifts as required
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $18.59 - $22.19 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
