Job Title : Interventional Radiology Supervisor Job Specialty : Special Procedures Job Duration : Shift : 8-hour days, usually Monday - Friday Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : Minimum of three years of supervisory experience with extensive training in angiography and other interventional studies License : State licensure as a Radiology Technologist required Certifications : A.R.R.T Certification and current C.P.R. card Must-Have : - Active ARRT RT (R) - Certified as a Vascular Interventional (VI) - Previous supervisory experience - Minimum of 5 years as a Special Procedures Technologist - Experience in Interventional Radiology Job Description : - Perform duties directly involved with Diagnostic International Radiology in Special Procedures under the direction of the Radiologist. - Demonstrate leadership and management skills in the supervision of Special Procedures Technologists and Radiology Nurses. - Oversee the overall operation of the Special Procedure rooms. - Work closely with medical staff to maximize the capabilities of special areas. - Manage the Outpatient Recovery Unit (ORU) and supervise personnel assigned to that unit. - Support clinical nursing practice and patient care delivery, including patient satisfaction. - Typically work the day shift with rotation on-call for evenings and weekends; may work Saturdays. - Occasionally required to be on premises for extended periods during emergencies or to complete procedures.
