Job Title : Licensed Clinical Social Worker - Drug & Alcohol Counselor Job Specialty : Behavioral Health - Clinical Social Worker Job Duration : Full-time, Permanent Shift : Monday – Friday, 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM; occasional Saturdays from 7 : 30 AM to 10 : 30 AM Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Preferred experience in the substance abuse field License : Must be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Certifications : Compliance with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 regulations Must-Have : Compassion for and interest in working with vulnerable populations, and strong interpersonal communication skills Job Description : - Complete intake, admission, discharge, and transfer paperwork. - Document patient progress through counseling and group interactions. - Conduct individual, group, and family counseling sessions. - Educate patients on all aspects of treatment, related health issues, and steps to recovery. - Assist in monitoring patient activities on center premises. - Report patient abuse, neglect, exploitation, and grievances. - Develop psychosocial assessments and individualized treatment plans. - Identify and address clinical and case management needs. - Ensure compliance with confidentiality standards and maintain proper licensure and certifications. - Participate in preparation for surveys and inspections. - Attend staff meetings. - Comply with local, state, and federal regulations. - Act in the best interests of the program and organization. - Participate in community relations activities. - Work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team. - Perform additional tasks as assigned by leadership.
