Job Title: MRI Technologist
Job Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology - MRI Tech
Duration: 13 weeks, Day shifts (08:00 - 16:30), 5x8 hours per day.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience is required. Applicants with less than 2 years of experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR).
Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI procedures in various settings, including Adult Acute Care, Emergency Room, and Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
- Operate MRI equipment, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Utilize the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system EPIC for charting.
- Pass written tests during orientation, including Cardiac Dysrhythmia Test and Moderate Sedation Test (for specified units).
- Maintain COVID-19 vaccination status, with medical or religious exemptions considered.
- Work as needed on weekends; no call-in shifts are required.
- Submit compliance documents at least five business days prior to the start date.
- Absenteeism policy applies to travelers; missing more than two shifts may result in contract review.
- Orientations are 16 hours long and non-billable.
