About the Job
We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures and providing exceptional patient care.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility, adhering to strict quality control standards.
- Coordinate with physicians to provide timely and accurate diagnostic imaging services.
- Prepare patients for scans, explaining the procedure in detail to ensure their comfort and understanding.
- Insert IVs when necessary for tests, following proper protocol and safety guidelines.
- Document all procedures, maintaining the confidentiality of patient information at all times.
Requirements
- Two (2) years of experience as an MRI Technologist or in a related field.
- Any valid license accepted in the state of New York.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
- GE Scanner experience is highly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification through the ARRT or a similar organization.
- Experience working in a Level 1 Trauma Center.
