Responsibilities:
- Work in a hospital setting with a total bed capacity of 49, including 26 observation beds.
- Collaborate with a team of diverse healthcare professionals, with MRI staff numbers varying from 4-8 daily and a total radiology staff ranging from 25-35 people per day.
- Operate daytime shifts with 4-5 full-time MRI Technologists; no night shifts as the unit closes at 7 PM.
- Maintain a patient ratio of 1:1, ensuring personalized care and attention.
- Utilize GE MRI equipment and manage electronic medical records using Meditech and McKesson PACS.
- Perform a variety of MRI procedures, including plain scans, scans with contrast, and arthrograms, with a focus on musculoskeletal (MSK) MRI.
- Demonstrate an outgoing personality and strong patient advocacy skills to enhance patient experience.
- Adhere to scrub color and attire policy: Green.
- No weekend or on-call requirements, unless desired by applicant.
