Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job
A unique opportunity to work in a dynamic Nuclear Medicine department at a large trauma center with comprehensive stroke services and magnet designation.
About the Role
- Work as part of a team providing high-quality care to patients requiring nuclear medicine procedures.
- Contribute to the success of our Imaging - Diagnostic department by applying your expertise and skills in nuclear medicine.
- Float between inpatient and outpatient rooms, supporting both areas as needed.
- Collaborate with unit coordinators, staff techs, RTs, and hospitalists 24/7 for optimal patient outcomes.
- Utilize EPIC charting software and GE Nuclear Cameras, Spect CT, and Spect equipment to deliver accurate results.
- Participate in one-shift orientation to learn the unit's workflow and processes.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine.
- Hold current certifications from ARRT or NMTCB, and IEMA (IL).
- Maintain Active BLS (AHA) certification.
- Prior travel experience and familiarity with EPIC systems are highly desirable.
