Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Case Manager Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 5x8-Hour (08 : 00 - 16 : 30) Guaranteed Hours : Experience : Minimum 3 years preferred License : Active MD or Compact License required Certifications : BLS preferred, CPI Certificate required (online version acceptable) Must-Have : - 2 satisfactory professional references needed from most recent employers, including 1 supervisor / manager and 1 charge RN - Must be comfortable floating within hospital with no restrictions as long as it's within their experience scope - Flu vaccine required (no exemptions) Job Description : - Schedule : 5x8-hour days, no weekends - Average daily census : 35-45 - Patient Ratio : 1 : 1 - Orientation : 24 hours non-billable - Travelers are required to complete labs within 72 hours of signing the contract - Request for Time Off (RTO) should be included during the initial submission and cannot be altered once offered. RTO should not exceed 7 days, and if more than 4 consecutive days are requested, an additional week will be added to the contract. - Most locations allow for one major holiday off during the winter season; refer to specific job postings for details. - Candidates must accept auto offers without an interview for units / jobs where this applies. - No block schedule or scheduling restrictions can be requested. While accommodations may be made, they are not guaranteed and will not be included in writing in the offer. - Candidates must have a permanent residence 50 miles or more from the hospital submitted for. - Return travelers must be away for at least 6 months from the system. Former staff must be gone for 12 months before returning as a traveler.
