Job Description
- Work in a 3-suite lab handling an average of four cases per day.
- Manage cases involving emergent revascularization, LHC, RHC, peripheral diagnostics/intervention, cardioversion, TEE, device implantations, pericardiocentesis, and temporary pacemakers.
- Perform duties such as moderate sedation, charting, circulating, and working in pre/post areas.
- Collaborate in four-person teams, including two RNs and one Radiologic Technologist, with a fourth member being an RCIS or Radiologic Technologist.
- Utilize EMR/Equipment systems such as EPIC, Philips Xper (Hemo), Siemens C-Arm, IABP, Impella, Shockwave, Laser, IFR/FFR, IVUS, and Rotapro.
- Engage with an intensivist MD available 24/7, with on-call cardiology MD after hours.
- Charge/Team Lead Nurse to provide support, manage time cards, and run the shift, including working in labs as needed.
- Flexible scheduling of shifts; standard shifts are from 0700-1530 and 0600-1630, scheduled 17 days in advance for periods of six weeks.
- Accommodate call requirements of 1-2 days per week, every third weekend, and alternating holidays.
- Meet a 20-minute response time for call.
- Float to Heart and Vascular Pre/Post as required.
- Dress code includes provided scrubs and dedicated work shoes; lead aprons are supplied if not self-provided.
- Complete unit/department-specific orientation over two days in the lab.
